Our program equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to provide basic patient care under the supervision of a nurse and includes classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and preparation for certification exams. Students learn about fundamental nursing skills, patient rights, ethical conduct, and communication within the healthcare team.

Purple Owl Career Institute is an Alabama state-approved nurse aide training program. Upon the completion of our program, students will be eligible to take the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Exam, become an Alabama CNA, and a member of the CNA Registry.
Eligibility Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- Photo ID
- Access to Internet and Digital Device
- Negative TB Skin Test
- No Criminal Background History & Negative Drug Screening (Depending on Externship)
