CNA to PCT Bridge Program
Multi-Skilled Healthcare Certificate
Includes Phlebotomy and EKG Training
(Hybrid)
Career Highlights
As a patient care technician (PCT) you will provide direct care to patients, including helping with daily activities and monitoring vital signs. PCTs observe, document, and communicate needs and concerns to medical staff while reporting any changes in status to the patient's care team. They help patients feel comfortable and cared for, which often requires them to provide emotional support and guidance during their hospital stay or clinic visit.
Patient Care Technicians (PCT) are valuable members of many healthcare teams. As a PCT, you will work in hospitals, rehabilitation settings, physician offices, or clinics alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible to sit for the National Health Career Association Certified Patient Care Technician Exam. You will also have the option to complete the Multi-Skilled Certificate and become certified Phlebotomy Technicians and/or certified EKG Technicians.
